When do I knit and crochet, or the newest edition to my crafting obsession, cross stitching? My crafting time is anytime. Whenever the mood hits, whenever it's most convenient, whenever I can. I don't have a special time or place. During my lunch hour at work, while at home sick or just at home chilling, waiting for an appointment. While watching television, late at night or early in the morning, listening to podcasts on my iPod, listening to music. For hours or minutes. At baseball games, basketball games, while shopping. Usually an easier project in a social setting, like with a group at the LYS or chatting at a friend's house. On vacation, at the airport, on the airplane, in the hotel, on the beach.
There's no ritual, nothing special needed, just needles (or hook), yarn and a pattern. However, if I'm knitting something complicated, like lace, I require absolute silence. :) Oh, and no food. I'm a messy eater anyway so that would mean crumbs in the finished objects and that just won't do. I can handle a drink nearby though.
Me knitting on my couch, while someone is making me laugh. My fingers look odd, don't they? Well, they did to me when I first looked at the picture. At a closer glance I see I'm wrapping the yarn around my pinkie to start the row (I knit Continental :). Hmm, I don't think I've ever taken a picture without my bra strap showing and what's up with my chins? Ok, I'd better stop looking too hard before I delete this!
Well, this is the final post for Knitting and Crochet Blog Week. It's been so much fun coming up with ideas to fit each day's theme and reading posts created by lots of talented persons who share my love for yarn crafting. Thanks to Eskimimi for organizing this event. I can't wait for next year! :)

Your hands look wonderful. Love all the nail colors. I'm playing with eyeshadows now since a friend gave me a Urban Essentials palette.
Knit on!
